I’m honored to have a solo exhibition in Wilmington, NC.
"Where Joy Blooms," serves as a metaphor for the process of capturing, cultivating, and recognizing joyful moments as a means of navigating the ebbs and flows of life. Within this exhibit, oversized and abstracted flowers take center stage, highlighting the profound impact of tending to our personal wells of joy. The flowers, simultaneously transparent and opaque, whole and mended, floating and rooted, symbolize the intricate duality of life. In this journey, joy and sorrow become constant companions, their coexistence a testament to the intricate nature of our human experience.
“Where Joy Blooms” is a solo exhibition presented by Michael S. Williams and Holly Tripman Fitzgerald in partnership with Durham Art Guild at 210 Princess Street, Wilmington, NC.
